Valley Hand & Physical Therapy is following guidelines outlined by the BC CDC for community-based health care providers. These changes may include the use of physical barriers (such as plexiglass), distancing of staff from clients (standing back 2m while reviewing exercises), and the use of personal protective equipment when needed.
You will be asked COVID-19 related screening questions while you are booking your first appointment. You will also be asked screening questions each time you come into the clinic for an appointment.
We kindly ask that you do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment. If you happen to arrive earlier, please wait outside or in your vehicle. This will allow everyone to maintain physical distancing while in the clinic. Please bring a face covering to your appointment – as this is now mandatory. If you require a mask and do not bring one, we can provide one for $2 fee.
Please do not bring others with you to your appointment, unless it is necessary, such as a parent/guardian, caregiver, or interpreter.
Most importantly, please do not come to your appointment if you are feeling unwell. We are waiving our cancellation policy and would prefer to see you when you are healthy. Our staff will not be coming in if we are sick either.
